  • White thread
  • A large branch
  • Beads

Learn the steps in this DIY craft tutorial for making hanging seed paper flower wall art!

Step 1: Make your seed paper flowers
Print this flower template and cut out the two flower sizes. Use them to trace as many of each of the flower sizes you want onto your seed paper sheets and cut them out. We made twelve large and nine small flowers. You can crease the petals of the flowers slightly to get some shape to them if you like.

Step 2: Plan your flowers strands
Decide how many strands of flowers you will want on your branch and approximately how long you want each one. Each strand should be about 6 inches apart in the end. Measure and cut your thread so that you have enough extra string for tieing them to the branch after.

Step 3: Assembling the flower strands
Put a drop of glue at the end of the string and let it harden. Thread the needle through the middle of a flower and push the flower to the end where the hardened glue stops it. Thread a bead so that it lands on top of the seed paper flower shape. Put another drop of glue on the string 9cm up and repeat as many times as you need to fill each strand with flowers. We made five strands, three shorter with small flowers and two longer strands with large flowers.

Step 4: Attach to branch
Attach your prepared flower strands to your branch by wrapping the extra string around and tying a knot. Be sure to space them evening apart.

Voilà! Your hanging flowers wall art is complete and ready to hang. Use long screws with anchors to secure to a wall. You can make the screws go right through the branch or put them underneath and balance the branch on them.
