DIY Holiday Gift – Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix with Coasters, Recipes and Gift Tags

Put a unique and creative spin on a comforting Christmas classic with this decadent homemade gift with FREE printable coasters and tags.

The holiday season inspires dream-like thoughts of twinkling lights, falling snowflakes and the wonderful memories from the merry Christmases passed. Whether we’re decorating the tree, sharing food and laughs at office parties or watching the Santa Claus parade, it’s the one holiday of the year that we love to celebrate for weeks before the actual day. And one of the best things about this season is that it evokes senses and feelings in a powerful way: the feeling of tearing away decorative wrapping paper, the way the city looks under a thick veil of fresh snow, the smell of homemade goodies baking in the oven, the taste of roast turkey and the sound of the Christmas songs that you somehow still love. But the most profound of all is the feeling of contentment we get from giving thoughtful gifts and sharing all of these experiences with the people we love.

Homemade gifts are a wonderful and creative alternative to store-bought ones. This DIY Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix idea will be sure to keep their bellies warm all winter long.

One of the many benefits of presenting someone with a homemade gift is that they’re genuine and thoughtful. Even though it’s nice to receive a new DVD or a sweater from someone, homemade gifts leave a lasting impression on recipients because they require a little extra effort and care. By gifting someone with this homemade hot chocolate mix package (recipe below) with coasters, recipes and gift tags, you’ll be giving them a heartfelt present that will not only taste delicious, but will also be a comforting addition to their favorite holiday traditions. And since several decadent recipes are included on the backs of the coasters in this FREE printable, the recipients will be able to enjoy this homemade gift long after Christmastime is over.
