{free printable} Thanksgiving Tags Made with Seed Paper That Grows Basil!

Thanksgiving is by far one of our favorite special occasions of the year. Not only is it during one of the coziest and lovable seasons, but it’s also the one holiday where you all get together to simply enjoy good food and family. There is no need for gift giving or exchanging greeting cards, it’s simply about taking a day to acknowledge your gratitude for the beautiful gifts life has given you and your family.

Gratitude is something that should be felt daily on a personal level, but the beauty of Thanksgiving is sharing it with others. Reminding each other just how lucky you are to have a home, each other, a job, a furry friend, whatever it may be, is good for the soul. Say it loud and proud because these feelings of appreciation are contagious. So to help you celebrate and make your table settings a little extra special, we decided to make some free printable tags that you can attach to napkins.

With the simple but sweet message “thankful for you”, they will make each and every guest feel loved and appreciated.

Because Thanksgiving is all about the food, we thought it would be nice to print these adorable tags on basil seed paper so we included a second side with basil planting instructions for the back of the tags. If you decide you’d like to make your tags plantable as well, you can purchase plantable seed paper here. Then, once you have that special eco paper in hand, print your tags double sided using an inkjet printer (duplex top-top). If using regular cardstock, you can just print the front of the cards. But we hope you choose seed paper! Not only will it give your guests a savory gift they can plant and enjoy, but the biodegradable seed paper is eco-friendly too. Here’s how to make them:

• Download the Thanksgiving Tags Free Printable.
• Print them at home or take to a local print shop. (If using seed paper, be sure to use a top-loading inkjet printer and refer to our plantable paper printing guidelines.)
• Trim the tags out with scissors or an exacto knife.
• Hole punch the circle area.

That’s it! Now simply attach your tags to napkins with ribbon or string like we did or use them for goodie bags and gifts. However you decide to share them, your friends and family will love the sentiment.
