Heidi’s Week in Review Feb {20-26}

March is almost here as we say goodbye soon to the shortest month of the year, February. Where we are in the world, it is still chilly outside but that hasn't shrunk our spirits! Let's take a look at what company President Heidi Reimer-Epp has been writing about this past week on her blog, Stationery Scoop.

  • This was a great company to work with to make a product for green promotions. Bottlework, a graphic design company in Birmingham, Alabama designed these beautiful door hangers, made of 100% seed paper courtesy of Botanical PaperWorks.

  • We had a short week here at BPW thanks to Louis Riel Day (or Family Day). The long weekend was nice but many of us, including Heidi dream of feeling sand between our toes as winter weighs on. Heidi had a busy week beyond the office for she went to the Manitoba Theatre Centre for The Shunning, a dinner at Stella's Cafe, and met with a local not-for-profit Lighthouse Mission to see if we can help them with a greeting card making project.
  • Heidi has the most creative ways to be eco and reduce waste. You can easily be green with your jewelry collection by the foregoing of buying cheap jewelry and adorn yourself with some vintage pieces. Not only do these cherished pieces offer a greener alternative then buying plastic pieces, but hold memories of those who wore them and where they came from.
  • Check out Heidi's new photo albums on her Stationery Scoop blog called Plantable Wedding Invitations and Seed Paper. The wedding album features our most beautiful and eco plantable wedding invitations while the Seed Paper album shows the many wildflower photos clients have sent to us in joy! Below you will see one of our newest additions to our wedding collection. Matching seed favor tags, thank you cards, and place cards will launch soon too!
