How To Order Seed Paper Belly Bands

In a world where packaging waste continues to build-up in our landfills and pollute our oceans, it can be hard to find solutions that won’t end up contributing to the waste. That’s why Botanical PaperWorks added a line of sustainable eco packaging options made with seed paper including one of our most popular choices, Seed Paper Belly Bands.

Belly bands are a simple and effective way to make your packaging stand out without adding excess waste. You can use belly bands for a wide variety of products, from soaps to linens and everything in between. The plantable wraps are made from 100% post-consumer paper waste and are completely biodegradable. Once your customer is done with the packaging they can then plant it to grow wildflowers, herbs, or vegetables. Seed paper adds value to your product, while still being a practical solution.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to ordering Seed Paper Belly Bands:

1) Choose Your Dimensions

The easiest way to work this out is to cut a strip of paper and wrap it around your product or box and see what length and width work best for you. Be sure to include a little bit of extra length so that one end overlaps the other and you can secure the band with glue or double-sided tape.

Another thing to keep in mind here is if you need any creases in your belly band. This can make it easier to wrap a band around a box or other object with defined corners. If you would like creases added, simply indicate them in your artwork with dashed lines and let us know how many you need when we are quoting the job for you.

2) Choose A Seed Paper Type & Color

While sustainable eco-packaging prices are based on white wildflower seed paper, you can also choose a variety of upgrades to make your seed paper belly bands more unique. We have 25+ designer color options available so let us know which shade you’re interested in when requesting a quote. In addition, herb or vegetable paper is available in white or cream seed paper.
