Botanical PaperWorks Wins PPPC Award for Small Supplier of the Year

We were thrilled to return to Toronto and reconnect with the incredible promo products community at this year’s PPPC Awards. The event truly shined a spotlight on the passion and dedication of everyone in the industry, creating a wonderful opportunity to celebrate one another.

Most Beneficial Sales & Marketing Aid – Multisensory Product Knowledge Experience (top 4 finalists)

Strengthening customer relationships is a top priority at Botanical PaperWorks and this award highlights a sales and marketing program designed to help us do that. By offering distributors a multisensory product experience through video technology and tactile samples, including seed paper and handmade soaps, the program created an engaging and personalized experience. This innovative approach led to a 113% increase in opportunities, a 16.8% rise in conversion rates, and a 78.4% boost in sales revenue among participants who attended a product knowledge session.

Sustainable | Eco-Friendly CDN-only Initiative – Upcycled Wood Soap Dish Set (top 4 finalists)

During the holiday season, Oak Leaf Promotions launched a promotional campaign to show appreciation for clients while highlighting the value of sustainable products. They selected an eco-friendly soap gift set from Botanical PaperWorks that featured a Live Green Handmade soap wrapped with a plantable seed paper band and a handcrafted wood soap dish made from reclaimed pallet wood. The gifts were personally delivered to both long-standing and new clients, along with handwritten cards, creating a personalized touch. The campaign’s thoughtful, sustainable design sparked conversations about eco-conscious promotional products and resulted in a significant boost in client retention.

Sustainable | Eco-Friendly CDN-only Initiative – Save Our Oceans Soap (top 4 finalists)

Parrish & Heimbeck was looking for a memorable and useful promotion for women in the agricultural sector at a grain conference and golf night. With the help of their distributor, Shippam & Associates they chose custom-branded, natural vegan soaps called Save Our Oceans Soap from Botanical PaperWorks. The soap is made in Canada by a B Corp Certified team with shea butter, coconut oil, and olive oil. The gift also supports sustainability efforts, with 10% of sales going to Oceana for ocean conservation. The locally made soap reflected the client’s values and was well-received, enhancing the client’s brand visibility through its unique, memorable, and sensory appeal.
