{real wedding inspiration} Tabitha & Alex’s Botanical Garden Wedding

Tucked between blooming flowers in a lush garden, Tabitha and Alex said I do. Their summer wedding day was romantic, elegant and down-to-earth, featuring customized plantable Seed Paper Wedding Invitations from Botanical PaperWorks. Guests had the chance to plant the invitations after to grow wildflowers in honor of the happy couple.

The groomsmen wore deep navy suits while the bridesmaids wore powder pink full-length chiffon dresses.

Tabitha wore an elegant trumpet-style wedding gown with a lace-edged train. Her bridal bouquet held blooms of white and blush roses, carnations, snapdragons, sweet peas, and an array of greenery. Alex wore a statement purple paisley tie and boutonniere with roses.

Guests found their seats at the outdoor ceremony lined by family portraits to see the couple wed under a lush floral archway in the garden.

Refreshing glasses of Flower Bomb themed drinks were featured at the bar for cocktail hour with a mix of hibiscus, peony, Spanish orange, lime and vodka. Assortments of hors d’oeuvres were served including wagyu beef sliders and charcuterie boards. The wedding cake was classic white with charming decals of pink daisies scattered on the edges of 3-tiered layers.

After the ceremony, guests dined in an elegant outdoor reception tent decorated with twinkling lights and white drapery. Each table wore a centrepiece arrangement of white and blush roses. Seating charts written in script on tall gold-rimmed glass candle holders gave guests a warm welcome.

Homemade jam favors went home with each guest. An audio guestbook was set on an antique desk with a vintage telephone surrounded by candlelight and decorated with greenery.
