Families Share Thoughtful Seed Paper Cards with Seniors in Care Homes

Right now, we all need new ways to feel connected to each other. In particular, seniors in long-term care, whose visits with their families have been restricted, limited, or postponed, deserve a thoughtful gesture and message. While visiting in-person isn’t possible, a physical card goes a long way.

That’s why Botanical PaperWorks donated some seed paper cards from the Thoughtful Plantable Seed Paper Card Sets to Cards for Care — the initiative organized by Virgin Radio Winnipeg and The Ace Burpee Show to send handwritten cards to seniors in long-term care across Manitoba. Some of those thoughtful cards were signed by staff at the radio station, while the rest were signed by families and people in the community.

The kids who participated ended up creating heartwarming messages that we’re sure brought smiles to many! Take a look at the photos below to see what they came up with:
