Spreading Hope…and Flowers!

There’s no way to prepare for the dreaded call – the news that a loved one (or you yourself) has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. Cancer, and especially breast cancer, is an unhappy tie that binds us women together. It’s rare to find anyone who hasn’t been touched by it in one way or another.

For that reason, it’s important to me to support breast cancer research and breast cancer programming. I’m thankful for CancerCare Manitoba and the good work that they do. I have participated in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s CIBC Run for The Cure and supported the organization.

For many years, Botanical PaperWorks has had the Awareness Ribbon Favor to help individuals and organizations in their fundraising and awareness campaigns. Every time one of these favors is planted, a garden of flowers grows, symbolizing the hope that we have for an eventual cure, and the hope that we hold for individuals currently battling cancer.

So it only made sense for us this year to launch a new breast cancer seed paper promotional product brochure to help promotional product distributors offer eco-friendly ways for organizations to support October Breast Cancer Awareness Month and spread hope.
