What are seed bombs?
Seed Bombs or seed balls, are small clusters packed with seeds that were historically made to spread greenery and colorful habitats in urban landscapes or neglected areas.
In the 1970s, Green Guerrillas were tired of Manhattan’s crumbling concrete sprawl and began tossing what they called seed green-aids (which sounds like grenades), hence the name seed bombs! Botanical PaperWorks seed bombs are made from post-industrial material to protect the seeds and retain water for germination.
