Botanical PaperWorks was born from a teacher’s desire to reduce paper waste in her classroom. The pursuit of making a difference, no matter how small, is part of our roots and continues to motivate us today. When Botanical PaperWorks seed paper was first created, our CEO and Co-Founder Heidi Reimer-Epp saw an opportunity to not only deliver an eco-friendly solution to markets that desperately needed it, but to also do business differently. By prioritizing people and the planet, rather than focusing solely on the pursuit of profits, Botanical PaperWorks could fulfill its mission to “Leave the Earth a better place”. Seed paper manufactured by Botanical PaperWorks is approved by the CFIA and the USDA for planting in the U.S., Canada, Europe Union, and many other countries worldwide.
As a Canadian company, our seed paper isn’t allowed to leave the country without the seal of approval from these regulatory bodies. Each batch of seeds is tested for purity to ensure that they are free of noxious weeds and invasive species.
You don’t want to be the cause of noxious weeds and invasive plants introduced into your country’s soil.
What you put into the ground matters. That’s why Botanical PaperWorks is your best source for tested and approved seed paper.
But does seed paper actually grow?
Yes! There’s no point in using seed paper if it doesn’t grow. That’s why we consistently test for good germination and robust growth. If customers ask us to make a seed paper with a seed type that we’ve tested and know doesn’t germinate in paper, we’ll say no thanks. We refuse to sell a product that doesn’t grow.
